Dr. Priya Shastri, MD
Dr. Priya Shastri is Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has over 20 years of experience caring for patients of all ages in the south and western suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. She is currently seeing patients from 3 years and up. Dr.Shastri has a special interest in preventive screenings, treating chronic illnesses, occupational healthcare, and urgent care medicine and is able to do minor surgical procedures like suturing minor lacerations in the office.
Dr. Shastri has received additional training in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Programs. She is able to perform medical examinations for the Department of Transportation and is certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME). The doctor does workman's compensation and sees patients with work injuries. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Shastri has hospital admitting privileges at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, IL. She is married with children. She is also a member of the American Diabetes Association.
